Vision and Mission
We believe that New England can have among the most sustainable landscapes and thriving cultures on the planet, one that is generative of health, community, beauty, and equity. We believe that through collective efforts, energy self-reliance and weather resilience can be built to secure healthy, prosperous, and sustainable communities across New England.
We promote regional collaboration toward the goal of greater energy self-reliance and weather resilience that contribute to healthy, prosperous, and sustainable communities across New England. CSNE is an initiative of and led by faculty and staff from the Sustainability Institute and the University of New Hampshire. Learn more at www.climatesolutionsne.org.
In support of our transition to an energy self-reliant and weather resilient future across New England, the CSNE Network is organized around four integrated activities:
- our shared vision
- research, analysis, communication
- planning and implementation efforts
- convening workshops and summits
