June 12th: Dr. Cameron Wake will speak on a panel about "What the Data Tells Us," at the Maine's Economy and Climate Change Summit. Organized by Envision Maine. Bowdoin College.
April 30th: Dr. Cameron Wake and Dr. Paul Kirshen, "Preparing Our Coastal Communities: Using Climate Science to Guide NH Decisions for Today and Tomorrow," a workshop organized by the NH Coastal Adaptation Workgroup. Hugh Gregg Coastal Conservation Center at the Great Bay Discovery Center, 89 Depot Road, Greenland, NH. 5:00-7:30 p.m.
November 12th: A panel discussion titled “Clean Energy and American Leadership: Risks and Opportunities” with Tom Steyer- a California business leader, very successful former hedge fund manager, philanthropist, advanced energy advocate, and founder and President of NextGen Climate, an organization he founded in 2013 to prevent climate disaster and promote prosperity for all Americans. Along with Michael Ettlinger- Founding Director of UNH Carsey School of Public Policy, Clayton Mitchell- lecturer in the Department of Natural Resources and the Enviornment at UNH and founding partner of NH-based company Revolution Energy, amd Venu Rao- Former Program Manager at Lockheed Martin and current Chairman for the Hollis Energy Committee. Dr. Cameron Wake will moderate the discussion.
Lecture will be held from 2:00 – 3:30 PM in the UNH MUB Theatre II.
